Always Safety first

We welcome everyone to the best kept secret in the Caribbean, "Tobago". Divers and non-divers alike who wish to experience the professionalism and comfort we offer at "The Manta Dive Center".

To begin with, we, at Manta Dive, have always put safety first, in all our 15 years of operation, we have no record of accidents.

We dive according to the level of our divers, the number of divers and sea and weather conditions.

We always start with a thorough dive briefing. All our dives are led by qualified Dive Masters or Instructors, who have years of experience diving in Tobago's waters. Some easy dive sites and beach dives can be done without Dive Masters. On each dive, our dive leaders carry a Surface Marker Buoy, which our dive boat follows. When the divers are ready to surface, they follow the line to the surface marker buoy for speedy pick ups, this is especially important when drift diving.

We use dive computers so that divers get more bottom time and get the most out of each dive.

While on the topic of safety, it is important to note that Tobago has it's own recompression chamber, with trained and experienced tenders and a specially trained Physician on 24hr. call.
